This course is ideal for individuals who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid. Course content: - The role of the first aider - Handling an emergency safely - Basic life support including cardiopulmonary resuscitation - Dealing with wounds or bleeding - Dealing with seizures and choking - Provision of appropriate first aid for minor injuries - Introductory training with the automated defibrillator (AED) All delegates will receive a certificate upon completion of the course and the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification lasts for 3 years.
