OVERVIEW

This ½ day course aims to ensure that you are fully compliant with 'The Control of Asbestos Regulations' which have an explicit asbestos awareness training requirement. This awareness training requirement is placed upon all employees who are engaged in refurbishment, demolition, general building or maintenance work.

STUDY TOPICS

Details and knowledge of the substance,
How to find out if it is present on site,
Knowing where it is most likely located,
How to avoid it and knowing what to do if it is accidentally disturbed.

Please Note: The course does not cover the removal and disposal of asbestos, as this requires further specialist training.

BENEFITS

Upon course completion, successful delegates will be issued with a Certificate as proof of training and a Site Training Identity Card. This certification is valid for one year.
