This course will enable you to understand the meaning of coaching, its benefits and use. You will develop individual awareness and understanding through effective questioning whilst listening and understanding the views, opinions, concerns, ideas and feelings of others and select appropriate follow up questions.
Learn to positively manage staff development and performance through the use of effective feedback and be able to utilise the GROW model to structure a coaching style conversation.
The course introduces Managers to a range of skills and a coaching style which encourages staff to think for themselves, problem solve and devise their own solutions, take ownership for their own development and take responsibility for their own level of performance.
